Connie is no stranger to the stresses and strains of modern life and uses Yoga to ease this along with being born with slight scholiosis (curvature of the spine) which means she knows how it feels to have a "bad back" and manage this through Yoga; she is a busy working mum and has spent most of her working life as a Computer Engineer and has been interested in fitness, exercise and nutrition for over 15 years. Over the last four years she has studied part time to obtain the following teaching qualifications and experience:
Completed teacher training course in Ashtanga Yoga with Brian Cooper and Nawajyoti of Union Yoga, Edinburgh. This course is recognised by the Yoga Alliance of Europe and International Yoga Federation.

Passed the YMCA Exercise to Music NVQII course with Focus Training.
Completed the REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals) recognised Flexi-Kids course with Physical Yoga.
Completed the Yoga Alliance 200 hour Diploma with Shama Yoga School in Sheffield.
August 2004 to date
I have taught regular weekly Yoga classes at various gyms, community centres, church halls and had regular weekly classes at North Bridge, Sowerby Bridge and Brighouse Leisure Centres. At last I have found a pleasant, small, lovely studio to teach regular classes in.
